We are about to begin our Robotics Unit! The actual competition is in the Spring, but this year we are going to actually be creating a board to enter into the design competition at Region 7!

Students are going to be hard at work to design their board.

Tasks will include:

• Brainstorming Theme Ideas
• Researching topics
• Researching the standards to make sure they have aligned with what is being taught in our state
• Making a mock robotics board
• writing a story to detail the path the robot will take
• Creating a video to present their ideas!
• Keeping a journal of their experience

As you can tell, this is going to be an intense project but I’m really excited to see the designs the students come up with!
